Filling caps are located on the side of each piece to fill with water or sand, meaning you can fill them up when and where needed. Please note, the cross base is NOT included.

I contacted Aosom as I wasn't sure which base would go with the parasol I bought from Robert Dyas. Got an immediate response. You really need this base otherwise the parasol won't stand up on its own. They do the job but they are very big so takes up a lot of space on the decking. I was very pleased that my order arrived within a few days of purchase. The only thing I wasn't happy about, is the delivery company. They delivered and left the item outside without knocking on the door so my parcel was on our doorstep the whole night. It wasn't until I went to track the parcel that I saw it had been delivered

The Book Elf 23/05/2025These bases (4) were perfect for my 3.5 by 3 metre parasol. They do fit together in a perfect square and have a lower central circule for parasol with 360 turn around features. You can fill with water or sand. Dead easy as they have a wide filling hole. But beware they each way over 25kg when to fill them. Great value in a great product.
anonymous 22/05/2025Very strong base for my parasol! Holds it in place and is very sturdy. It is quite large but doesn’t look too bad with a few plants on top of it. Easy to pick up each bit and easy to fill with water. Great customer service and fast delivery!
Alice 02/05/2025I bought this as an improvement for the Ikea sandbags to go with the Seglaro parasol. I needed 6 bags of Kiln dried sand to fully fill them, and you have to shuffle the sand about to max fill. When filled you can be more confident standing on them.

anonymous 11/04/2025tidy solid unit. although the pedal mechanism and the cover seem not to fit well. 2nd pic is the default position. 1st pic is after it has been rotated. The cover rotates and now doesn't fit.

Mitcharoo. 02/08/2024Good parasol base, arrived quickly, I filled them with water although you can fill with sand. Fits well with the outsunny parasol and they do keep it weighed down. The only thing to be aware of is they do take up a lot of space 1sq mtr.

Dale Haggai 26/06/2024when I bought this, it was a reasonable cost, I think it is priced too high now. It fits the large 10 foot crack out and swivel OutSunny umbrella. I can understand why some say it does not- it doesn’t look like it fits, but when you try to turn it, it turns. I filled it with water and it holds the umbrella just fine.
