My fiancé and best friend built this for my cat as I'm disabled and would have honestly struggled on my own. Whilst it looks wonderful now and my cat Murphy loves it building it was tricky because there wasn't enough pre drilled holes and we had to screw nails straight into the wood sometimes.You can build it on your own but it would be faster and quicker with two of you. Its very sturdy and the wood seems to be of good quality. Its a decent size but not so big that it wouldn't fit on a small patio.You can't use an electric screwdriver or drill, it says not to or it will split the wood .It seems waterproof, there was a downpour after we built it and it all stayed dry. All in all a cute decent cat house suitable for cats up to 7kg. Murphy loves it and it's been a nice bit of shade for him in the hot weather.
Aosom Customer 11/02/2024I’m always a bit skeptical about flat pack items but this is a breeze to assemble. If you’re a novice I’d suggest giving yourself a good hour and study the instructions carefully. Assembly was easy and the shelter is sturdy yet light weight enough to carry. I have a garden cat that comes inside for food but mostly stays outside, she’s claimed this already and I’m pleased she now has a quality shelter when she wants it.

Ma*** 13/05/2023I have 3 cats. Saw this advertised elsewhere with Rrp of £199. I think the Aosom price was good value. Box very we packaged and assembly instructions very clear. An electric screwdriver is handy. I have just weatherproofed it a bit more by pinning some PC tablecloth fabric to the doors to protect from rain and Ive run some clear silicon along the roof edges and step edges to prevent water getting in. Like the fact its wood so it can be painted any colour.
