I got this because my mice looked bored in their small cage so decided to upgrade and they absolutely love it. Best purchase ever!
Camille Needham 21/06/2024My sister had about 40 mice and we were trying to separate the males from the females. In researching this I saw that some people had separated it into two sections. We did that but we learned very quickly that if there was any small hole the mice made it bigger to get from one side to the other. I had to repair it a couple of times and as my sister was not real good at keeping the mice under control we ended up getting rid of all of them and the hut ended up in the trash.

Faye 03/06/2024It is very aesthetically pleasing structure to look at. My gerbils love the different levels. The only thing I had to do before I let them in is to finish the inside part of the wood with melted beeswax to create a waterproof surface for easy cleaning.

Ruth 25/05/2023Such a lovely cage that my Syrian hamster absolutely loves. The only down side is the instructions are not very clear so it can take a while to figure out and put it all together. Thats the only reason I have given this a 3 star.
Fabio 22/01/2023Aesthetically very beautiful .... the problem as already written is the material that absorbs odors .... I partially solved it by connecting the cage to a former goldfish tank ... where the hamster rests during the day ... recommended for a single small hamster .. for those who have patience in cleaning and ingenuity for the corners of the cage
Franks 09/01/2023The assembly instructions are not particularly detailed.
The wood is quite thin.
Since the upper windows are fixed, you cannot open them, which makes installation and cleaning difficult, especially in the lower part.
Overall, offers but it has a lot of space and I would choose this model again as it is just the right size for our living room.
Upon arrival it smelled great of fresh pine trees.
It can be used as one large cage or as two separate units are used. This should be decided during assembly, as a change afterwards requires a partial disassembly of the cage.
The lower level is quite dark, so we retrofitted it with an LED light with a motion sensor.
That is a disadvantage a lot of litter for digging is difficult to integrate because the flaps open at the bottom. So when you open the cage, bedding regularly trickles out of it.
