My hamster is so happy in his new house. Its massive i did not measure it but hes got so much room ro run around now. Photo to compare the upgrade.
Lori the Bookworm 20/05/2025I received it and built it yesterday right away, so time will tell if this is a good cage or needs improvement BUT as far as I can tell now, it seems really good.PROS :•Sturdy•thick wooden panels•a separate section that can be filled with bedding for the hammy to nest or create burrows, a perspex wall in the centre that separates the cage in two allowing to fill one side with a lot of bedding and the other with only little or different bedding should one wishes to.•wooden house, 2 seasaws and water dispenser + feeder included• metal grid on top to close the cage with security lock• litter tray that can be pulled out for easier cleaning• cool design with ramp and steps on wall leading to hole in perspex wall for hammy to jump through and exploreCONS• not many at least at the moment as still need to try this cage out. Only con was the lock on the closing top panel arrived broken
Annica 06/05/2025Good quality wooden pieces, sturdy design!Easy to assemble where the pre-drilled holes was but there were two places without that was much harder. Make sure you build on a flat surface to get flush and straight corners!Easy instructions to follow, very straight forward!Size is brilliant compared to the typical hamster cages sold in pet stores. One side of this can have nice deep bedding for digging, which can be viewed through acrylic glass from two sides!I love that the top allows for a lot of airflow and the included ledges.I’m not using the pull out drawer feature as it’s a hazard in case the hamster gets in between and gets crushed. I’ve filled mine with digging material up until the big “balcony”, and put a latch on the drawer for security!Al in all its a lovely enclosure and a good size!My new hamster friend likes it and has already explored the entire cage too to bottom!
