Well built and the chickens learnt very quickly to use it, only issue is… it CLATTERS a lot, when the chickens get off the pedal the lid slams shut, good for rats not so good for anyone asleep in the area on hot nights with the window open… (ours feed when the sun comes up!) some sort of cushioning would have made all the difference…
