Delivery was quick in wet weather so package was a bit damp. However, service was good and truck driver even helped me to move heavy awning indoors so at least the packaging is not water-logged. User guide was comprehensive IKEA style with few words. Two sets of fastenings given, presumably for different kinds of wall material but no words to explain why. Installation was simple if weather is better, hopefully it last and we will buy another one.

Firstly the awning is very good and is OK to use in light winds. The issue I had was the bricks used to build my extension were not solid and the anchor bolts provided were not suitable to hold the weight, the solution was to install resin anchor bolts to the wall and fix the brackets to the studs. Concrete or solid brick should be OK but I would still consider purchasing some better bolts than the ones provided.
