This item can be change in size for any fireplace
anonymous 21/01/2023Do the job as expected. I found using cable ties instead of provided bolts made for a more solid fit
val 13/01/2023We have an open fire and puppies … they’re quite happy to roll each other into the old fireguard and we quickly realised we needed this type if we were to light the fire.
We fold one part of the top over and leave the other down. This makes it easier to add logs etc. We’ve not fixed it to the walls but partly because we have tables on each side of the fireplace which makes it virtually impossible for the fireguard to come out.
Very happy with it.LeBelle 05/01/2023Good size /extension. Sturdy enough for children playing nearby. Found connectors/ fasteners rather awkward- at least that means children would have difficulty unfastening them. Main issue I don’t like is I seem unable to prevent fasteners protruding beyond frame.
