I've only just got this so these are my initial thoughts. Arrived quickly in a large heavy box, with good comms from Aosom throughout the process. I took everything out of the box and spent the next 1.5 hours assembling it. The instructions were ok but when it came to joining the backrest to the seat I think they could have been clearer, especially regarding which way around the bracket should go, (I got it right but wasn't sure), and how to line up them up - basically angling and force - and the bracket slots inside lower seat rectangular bit - you'll see what I mean if you do it. On a positive note, the tools pack comes with a few spare washers and screws which was a nice touch. Once assembled I tested out the recline position and footrest. The reclining was good and the footrest felt ok, but not sure how sturdy it will be in the long run. It was all very comfortable and the material felt good but is relatively light in colour so I might spray it with some fabric protector, as I'm sure it'll show the dirt quickly if I don't. As for comfort, it was good but there's no separate lumbar adjustment facility which may make all the difference for some. Also, I noticed a sound a bit like velcro coming apart when I put pressure on the armrest pads so prodded them more and, fortunately, they didn't fall off, so should be ok. I got it using the 15% off App intro offer, however, I am pretty sure I wouldn't have bought this for its list price of £169.99. Somewhere between £130-£145 seems about right to me. I'll come back at a later date if there's anything major to report. Otherwise, it's a thumbs-up from me.
