Had a few things now from Aosom . Chat line is helpful especially on measurements and/or alternatives. Items come very well packaged and arrived quickly. Putting up some shelving recently was shall l say taxing but it went up ok in the end Overall l would recommend this company. You can actually get to speak to someone.A rare thing these days
anonymous 11/12/2024In relation to Aosom as a company, I've made a couple purchases from them now & whilst on one occasion for another product did have cause to contact customer services, they were exceptional - which is why I had no dubiousness of buying from them again. Re the product: I'm happy overall with my new chair, I needed one urgently (which took longer than ideal to deliver, but that's down to the delivery partner Yodel!) & this seemed to fit the bill for my requirement. Building it was straight forward & pretty standard for these kind of home-office chairs. my posture is terrible & also have an ongoing health issue with my right leg, which I only mention as taking that into account I find it's comfy & supportive enough for me to work without the distraction of constantly adjusting myself & more significantly standing immediately up from the sitting position isn't an issue either. Functionally I love the folding / raised arms, to allow fully storing the seat under the desk when not in use without having to drop the height of the seat itself - I find this most helpful again in relation to above where I can just sit on the seat as I last left it knowing that it's the right height..... another distraction avoidance, which I'm all for as I am sooo easily distracted from work! ......oh, and the rocking function is nice too, which I'm doing as I type this almost without realising :-) If I had one criticism, it would be skepticism about the longevity of the product which I'm as yet unable comment on of course, so only mention it as (whilst it's great) you know when you buy something & you get that Hmmmm! moment..... the padding ect is good, but not excellent / the construction is sturdy, but not solid & the rock is already beginning to creak a bit but doesn't bother me, all for which I'd initially rated the product with 4 stars & then thought "hang on, you need to rate this according to expectations" & given that I haven't opted to purchase a £200 seat then have to concede that for the £47.99 I paid (including Black Friday discount & a voucher code) then it's worth every penny & the subsequent 5 stars.
