Kat 13/07/2025I read many reviews after getting a 9000 BTU recommendation, and when I came across the reviews for this one, there were only 3, but they were detailed and clearly written by people who’d researched air con units so I took the chance. I bought it on sale and had to buy a window seal kit as my windows open outwards. It’s a very heavy unit but arrived with a courier who had a trolley to bring it to my door, he also offered to help me get it inside but I declined as I had someone else home who could help. It was a struggle but I was able to get it upstairs by myself once unboxed. It was super simple to fit once rhe window seal kit was in place; the only frustrating part was the ends popping off the pipe! But once in place it was all forgotten. Plugged it in after letting it sit overnight (the box says to leave it sit for 24 hours, the instructions say 2 hours) so I did 24 just to be safe. It’s easy to operate: it’s quite noisy at first - it would be less noticeable if the fan just continued at the same speed, but it cuts in & out intermittently which makes the noise more noticeable, particularly at night, however my dogs & I have gotten used to it. I’ve been using it for 15 days now, and it is currently 30° in England. I have a nursery GloEgg in the bedroom which displays the room temperature and without the aircon it would be over 34° in here. I have it set to 16° but it’s maintaining the room at 18.8° so not as cool as the unit should/claims to get down to, but I’m sure on a slightly cooler day it would be able to get down to 16°, I’ve found myself putting a dressing gown on as even 18° feels cool. It’s made a huge difference for my dogs and we can actually sleep despite it still being 22° overnight. It’s added around £3 to the electric use daily. Overall I’m very happy.
Jessica K 16/06/2025each screw has been in and out of the holes twice , i cannot get the holes in the metal support to attach to the underside of the seats , i then attached everything else leaving the seat until last ( everything fitted ) except the underseat i couldntg et the holes to line up on both sides of the underneath of seats , one side yes , other side NO . As a result the seats moved : update , put metal bar in vice altered the bends and angle , filed holes , all good now problem solved
anonymous 15/12/2024Chair was fpr my 84 yr old dad who was struggling getting in and out of the bath, with this it's extremely easy for him.to just sit and slowly monover himself over into the bath. The only down side is the size for storage, its very large, it does come apart but doesn't break down very small. Overall perfect for our needs.
