Chris Baker 26/11/2024I've had a similar reel in my compressor cupboard for 12 years which had become leaky due to the vinyl hose cracking. This looks a good budget replacement at the moment and was working 5 minutes after unpacking, no problems with pulling out, locking or retracting. I particularly like the braided hose, also the visible moving rack which ensures the hose winds up uniformly, both not featured on my old device. I will need to spray the rack with WD40 occasionally to ensure it runs smoothly.

Pandora 01/04/2024After reading the reviews I purchased this as the reviewa were very mixed.Unfortunately those that said it was rubbish and it couldn't be used if it wasn't fixed to the wall obviously are not ofay with mechanical items such as this.It worked perfectly well and fittings are very good quality as is the hose. Bracket to fix to the wall is of high quality and everything is robust.It retracts perfectly as others say it didn't.In my opinion this is worth every penny I paid for it and more. Especially for more occasional use and not full on commercial use.Yes I would recommend this and would buy again if I needed another.

Paul 08/02/2024Works perfectly for my occasional DIY needs. Easy to mount with two screws, would have been better if the tail for connecting to the compressor was longer but just meant I mounted it lower. I would buy something a bit more robust if I used it daily but for my occasional use it does the job perfectly.
